Edan is a Founding Partner of Schwartz Levine Pinkas Stark PLLC (“SLPS”). Prior to SLPS, Edan was a founding partner of Friedberg Pinkas PLLC (“FP”).  In his practice, Edan focuses on representing sellers, purchasers, developers, landlords, and tenants in all phases of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including but not limited to acquisitions, sales, plan preparation and review, leasing, 1031 exchanges, Artist in Residence property acquisitions, and development agreements. 

Edan is a frequent public speaker on real estate-related topics to groups of up to 50 attorneys, real estate agents, and mortgage brokers at many of the major New York real estate brokerage companies such as Douglas Elliman Real Estate, The Corcoran Group, Warburg Realty, CitiHabitats, NestSeekers, and Compass, among others. At FP, he created the firm’s broker representation division which focuses on creating and negotiating broker team agreements for over 100 top brokerage teams at all of the major New York brokerage companies, including Douglas Elliman Real Estate, Compass, The Corcoran Group, Brown Harris Stevens, and TripleMint, among others.

Edan has made frequent television appearances on Million Dollar Listing NY and Bethenny & Fredrik and has been a featured attorney on The American Dream New York. He has been quoted in a variety of print and online publications, including the NY Law Journal, NY Magazine, Brick Underground and The Mann Report.

As an active volunteer, Edan is involved with many organizations in the tri-state area, including Feeding Westchester, Kol Ami of Westchester, Kids Closet, and the Coachmen Center. He has also participated in research fund drives for the American Cancer Society, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Outside of work, Edan enjoys working out and watching New York sports teams with his two boys. He has run three marathons (including the NYC marathon, twice).
